Immunizations
We offer a wide range of immunizations for low cost. If you do not have insurance, you may qualify to receive certain vaccines for $5.00. Call 801.957.4347 for more information regarding eligibility. Immunizations include but are not limited to the following:
- Hepatitis A - $38
- Hepatitis B - $38
- Influenza 2011-2012 (Seasonal Flu) - $15 for students, $20 part-time staff, no charge for full-time staff with Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance card.
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) - $57
- Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap) - $40
- Gardasil (HPV Cervical Cancer Vaccines, (ages 18-26) - $5
- Pneumococcal - $59
- Twinrix (Hep A and B combo) - $55
- Tuberculosis skin test (PPD) - $13
Procedures
The Health and Wellness Medical Clinic is equipped to deal with many simple medical procedures. Some of these procedures include:
- Bandaging
- Suturing
- Wart removal
- Skin Tag removal
- Toenail removal
Testing
Your Healthcare Provider may suggest tests that can help you better understand your health risks and needs. Some of these tests may include:
- Tuberculosis (PPD) tests
- Strep, Mono, Ulcers, and Epstein-Barr tests
- Cholesterol, Blood Sugar, and Iron tests
- Tests to determine liver, thyroid and kidney functions
- Tests for bacterial, yeast, and viral infections
Confidential STI Testing
The Health and Wellness Medical Clinic provides confidential comprehensive sexually transmitted infection testing for minimal cost. Tests include:
- Chlamydia/Gonorrhea
- Hepatitis B & C
- HIV
- Herpes
- Syphillis
Family Planning
Free condoms are available at the Health and Wellness Clinic offices. Other services include:
- Pregnancy preparation
- Fertility awareness
- Depo-Provera injections
- Prescriptions for oral contraceptives
- Plan B is available by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
- HCG Urine test
- HCG Blood test
